I am Veri Ann De Alkebulan, an African American woman expressing herself. I like many others have found myself looking for more works of thoughtful expression, that I can actually relate to. In searching for this I've noticed that a lot of what we hear and see and acknowledge as expression is reused and worn out. I find myself looking for more. I've been writng for a few years now, mostly journals, often poetry and occasionally fiction. I've made this my way of expression and self-reflection, my digital footprint, synonomous to a diary. I write my life and thoughts, I want to share this with the public, with you. This is my way of doing that. Please enjoy and embrace the feelings you will surely feel here, while also excusing my ignorance to structure.
If you have found your way here it's because you are meant to be here. Enjoy

I am posting a collective of journals, poetry, and fiction, all from my personal pov. They may or may not be accurate to the truth of what happened in those moments, I am simply telling it as I preceived it at the time in which I wrote it.
I am posting a collective of journals, poerty, and fiction that I have been writing and hoarding for some years now. I may no longer agree with my thoughts or feelings in the writings, as I have grown. Some of my works shock me to go back and read, slightly disgusted with my own words and my former self. This is a window into my head, disregarding the notion of time.
